Hanna EL Deir is a project management and claims professional, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He has over 14 years of experience in Project Management, Planning, Project Controls, contractual claims preparation and defense and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Hanna is a qualified Engineer with an MSc in Construction Law and Disputes Resolution, and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.  

He has held planning and project controls positions with contractors and consultants in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, where he has been resident for the past 10 years. This experience has enabled Hanna to become a specialist in project management, planning, contractual claims for time and cost, dispute resolution, and the successful conclusion of large value and/or complicated accounts on a wide variety of projects employing various forms of contract.

His experience portfolio includes many prestigious projects throughout Africa, the Middle East and Asia, including airports, hotels, military bases and skyscrapers. Other project experience includes power stations, schools, housing developments, industrial buildings, hotels, oil and gas installations and sewage and water treatment.
